• PHOTO GUIDE

We can create a beautiful royal portrait from almost any photo!

Check out this guide to see what photo to choose to get the best results.

FOR PEOPLE
• Please provide clear high-resolution photos showing the subject's entire head, with no cropping or blocking.
• Natural outdoor daylight always results in the best photos. Try to avoid bad lighting!
• Please upload photos without accessories such as sunglasses and hats (normal glasses are fine).
• Once you have chosen a template image, try to capture the precise angle that best fits that template.

FOR PETS
• Take your pet photo at eye level with your pet. Your pet can be standing, sitting, standing or lying in the photo but please remember that this exact position will be replicated in your artwork.
• Try to make photos from a mid-range distance (no less than 2ft and no more than 7ft)
• Natural outdoor daylight always results in the best photos. Try to avoid bad lighting!
• Avoid uploading blurry photos
Make sure no ears are out of frame!

ANY PHOTO WORK

If you do not have a photo like above, do not worry - we’ve got you! We can create our portraits from almost any photo and we do our best to make them look gorgeous.

If you have a photo with many people in it:
No problem! After you upload your photo add a note, letting us know which person to use.

POSSIBLE EDITS

Has your hairstyle changed or do you want to get rid of that earring? That's no problem, Your Highness. Just leave a note when placing an order and we will adjust your photo to create your Custom Royal Portrait, just the way you imagined it!

We strive to comply with any notes added to the order, but cannot guarantee it. For example, we can actually remove the red eye or add a crown but we can't open the mouth if it is closed in the image. The angle of view and facial expressions is also something that we cannot change.

AVAILABLE FOR ANY SKIN COLOR OR TONE
When we create our portraits, we match the person’s skin color from the photograph to the chosen portrait. We do that for all the visible parts of the body - so any portrait works with any skin color or shade.
